ピンク
久々徹夜。
お盆休みも21日まで、という人が多い。私はお盆の間もひたすらパソコンに向かい、普段の遅れを取り戻すべく仕事に勤しんだのが、それでもやっぱり仕事は遅れ気味。予定通りに行かないことばかりで、産休まであと3ヶ月、ちょっと心配事が増えてきた。頑張ろう！
さて、このお盆休みの間に34才の誕生日を迎えました。もう喜ぶ歳でもないけど、例年の如く多くの友人に祝ってもらって嬉しい限り。オメデトウメールをくれたかた、オメデトウコールをしてくれたかた、この場を借りて御礼申し上げます！みんなアリガトウ！
同居人もいつもに増して、素敵なお祝いをしてくれて感謝。誕生日のサプライズプレゼントには「お財布」をもらう。
実は私がここ5,6年使っていたサイフ、かなり使い込んだごっつい男モノで、ヌメ革が相当いい味出している。本人は使いやすいしとっても気に入っていたのだけど、母親などは私のサイフを見るたびに顔をしかめて、新しいのを買え買え言っていたのだ。
そういうことに無頓着なのであまり深く考えていなかったけれど、周りの同年代の女性を見ると、皆小綺麗なブランドモノのお財布を持っている人が多く、確かに私のサイフはかなり男臭く、ジーンズのお尻ポケットには似合うけど、小汚かったかも・・・。
見かねて（？）同居人がプレゼントしてくれた新しいお財布は、かわいいピンク色。使うの照れるほど、小綺麗です。種類があまりにもたくさんあり選ぶのにお店で2時間もかかったらしく、最終的に彼がどういう心理で「ピンク」のサイフを選ぶに至ったのか？興味深いです、ハイ。

奥様へのプレゼント、是非して下さい。やっぱりうれしいものですよー。
ちなみに一緒に暮らして8年になりますが、最初の頃はプレゼントはありませんでした。ずばり、お金がなかったようです（笑）
最近彼もやっと余裕が出来たようで、花などの贈り物も気軽にしてくれます。感慨ひとしおです（笑）
