英語レッスン再び
そういえば英語レッスンを受け始めたと2月に書いたきり、その後の事を書いていなかった事に気付く。
三日坊主でやめてしまったわけでは決してなく、ほぼ毎週、ずっと通ってました。但しここ1ヶ月は先生がお引っ越しでレッスン自体がお休み。今週末よりまた新しい先生で復活！私のつわりも折良く終息。また早速予約を入れてます。
例え一週間に1時間だけでも、一対一でネイティブの先生と話すのは本当に良いレッスンで、2ヶ月ほど通ったあたりからだいぶ勘が戻ってきたと実感。
引っ越して辞めてしまった最初の先生は26才のアメリカ人青年で、お行儀のよい英語ではないが、いわゆる口語英語を習うのにはうってつけだった。（かといってスラングだらけというわけでなく、ちょうど良い感じ）
言葉を習うというのは文化を教わることに直結するので、ホントのことを言うと彼の若さがちょっとばかり物足りないと感じる事もあったのだけど、その分は彼の人柄で帳消し。とても面白く魅力的な青年で、彼とのおしゃべりを大いに楽しんだレッスンだったのでした。
今度の先生はカナダ出身で4カ国語が堪能な才媛らしい。またどんな出会いがあるのか、とっても楽しみ。
